1974 2000 GTV race car RHD £36,950


We are delighted to offer this 1974 race prepared Alfa Romeo 2000 GTV which is built to the HSCC 70’s Roadsports Championship regulations and comes with a valid HSCC VIF.
The car is road registered and is MOT/Tax exempt.
Raced by the current owner since 2011 and last raced at HSCC Brands Hatch Superprix in July 2025. The car has been driven to all the races between 2011-2024 (it is possible!).
Specialist maintained and prepared throughout with bills and receipts dating back to 1989.
Eligible for HSCC 70’s Roadsports Championship, HRDC Classic Alfa Challenge, CSCC Swinging Sixties, Equipe 70’s, CTCRC pre 83 Championship, SMRC Classic Sports & Saloons, ARIIC Pre 85.
This well loved and extremely well presented race car is ready to race in 2026 (only available due to owner retiring from racing!).
Engine specification:-
Alquati race cams, big valve head, Spesso gaskets, lightened steel flywheel, AP Sport Clutch, Flame Thrower performance coil, Petronix electronic ignition, rejetted Dellorto DHLA 40 carburettors with 32mm chokes (HSCC compliant), additional throttle spring, curved GTA ram pipes.
The engine was fully rebuilt by Peter Smart Classic Alfas in March 2022.
With the following new parts fitted:-
Cylinder liners x4, piston rings, main bearings, con rod bearings, thrust washers, spigot bush, competition bottom timing chain, competition top timing chain, aluminium front pulley, front pulley nut and washer, heavy duty engine mounts, race spec. valve springs, race spec. cam followers, oil filter, front oil seal, rear oil seal, full gasket set, sump plug, water pump, exhaust manifold nuts x8, carburettor O rings, silicone hoses.
The car is also fitted with the following items:-

The rear axle has been rebuilt with an Alfaholics (Quaife) LSD, a 4.55:1 final drive, a solid Alfaholics propshaft, Alfaholics rifle drilled half shafts and all new bearings by Peter Smart Classic Alfas, March 2021.
The gearbox has also been rebuilt with new synchros by Peter Smart Classic Alfas March 2021.
The car is fitted with gold 15” Minilite Wheels (5) with 195/55/15 Yokohama AO52 1B race tyres with significant tread.
The car also comes with original 14’’ steel wheels (5) and 14” Gold Minilite Wheels shod with Toyo R888 1B race tyres
This car wants for nothing, other than a new driver for the 2026 season!

1969 1750 Boat Tail Spider UK RHD £44,995

We are delighted to offer this lovely UK right hand drive Alfa Romeo 1750 Boat Tail Spider to the open market for the first time in over 50 years!
The Spider was first registered in Stoke-on-Trent on 4th July 1969 (one of only 286 RHD 1750 Spiders produced in 1969). It was purchased by the current owners late father, Basil Lamb, from G A Baines & Co of Formby on 1st December 1973 for £995! (Invoice in history file). Mr Lamb was a keen Alfa Romeo enthusiast having previously owned 2 Alfa Romeos (a Bertone GTV and a Giulia Super). He became the Alfa Romeo Owners Club North West Section Secretary and served in that role for over 20 years!
The Spider is being offered for sale on behalf of the current owner, Chris Lamb, who has recently spent over £7,500 bringing the vehicle upto the standard you see here today. The Alfa is in excellent overall condition and finished in classic Alfa Farina red with contrasting black interior. The car is currently fitted with the rare factory Pininfarina designed hard top.
The mileage of 91,000 miles is believed genuine, although unfortunately cannot be verified. The car benefits from being MOT and Tax exempt, however, it will be supplied with a NEW MOT for piece of mind.
The Spider has had a fast road Harvey Bailey lowering kit fitted with Bilstein shock absorbers, the standard steel wheels are shod with excellent period correct Pirelli Cinturato tyres.
The 1750 engine gives lively performance through twin 40 Weber DCOE carburettors, which was rebuilt at approx. 90,000 miles and is mated to the excellent 5 speed gearbox.
Overall a lovely Boat Tail Spider that is ready to be enjoyed by its new owner!

We are delighted to offer this genuine UK supplied RHD 1600 GT Junior. This car was originally manufactured on the 29th October 1975 and sold to Alfa Romeo UK on the 10th November 1975, finished in Classic Alfa Rosso (AR501) with contrasting black vinyl interior, in fantastic condition all round condition this car is ready to be enjoyed by its next custodian.
This 1600 GT Junior is being unexpectedly offered for sale again having formally been in the ownership of the Secretary of the AROC Wessex section for the last 16 years.
A comprehensive history file accompanies the car dating back to 1981! Having been maintained over this time by some well respected Classic Alfa Romeo Specialists........

64/Giulia Sprint GT 2.0 HSCC/HRSR race car £SOLD similar cars wanted.
We are pleased to offer this lovely Alfa Romeo historic race car, eligible for several race series/championships including HSCC Historic Touring Cars, HRDC Classic Alfa Challenge and Jack Sears Trophy, CSCC Swinging Sixties, Sprint events and comes with a current MSA Competition Logbook.
Originally built into a race car in 1977 it has had a long and successful race career with many wins to its name and has been fully developed into the winning car it is today! (Extensive history file available including time sheets).
Specification as follows:-
Newly built 180 Bhp 2 litre engine at a cost of over £10k, Cosworth pistons, Carillo rods, big valves, twin 48 Dellorto carburettors, Holbay race cams, lightened and balanced flywheel, sintered race clutch, Lumenition electronic ignition, Alfaholics stainless steel exhaust, special radiator and oil cooler.
The engine has done one track day since being built.
Gearbox is a standard Alfa 5 speed with low ratio 5th gear. Limited slip diff fitted with a 8/43 CWP, solid propshaft.
Front suspension has been modified to 2.25” springs, rose jointed and multi adjustable shock absorbers.
Rear suspension, multi link rose jointed with coil over shock absorbers.
Front brakes AP 4 pot calipers with vented discs using Ferodo DS3000 race pads.
Rear brakes standard Alfa calipers with drilled and grooved discs.
Twin master cylinders with brake bias adjustment.
Bodywork is mainly steel with aluminium bonnet, fibreglass boot, fibreglass passenger door, lightened steel drivers door, Perspex side windows and rear screen.
Interior is completely stripped out, 6 point welded in roll cage with additional bracing, modified dashboard fitted with race gauges, plumbed in fire extinguisher, Motordrive Kevlar seat and Schroth harnesses fitted.
Currently running Minilite style 6 x 14” alloy wheels with modern Yokohama A048 tyres (195/60/14) as last used with the Classic Sports Car Club.
Approximate weight 880kg.

1973/L 2000 GTV fast road/track/race car £SOLD similar cars wanted
In June 2019 we sold FGV 295L, a lovely original low mileage UK road car which we had been looking after for the previous owner over the last 13 years, the new owner then commissioned us to rebuild the car to fast road/track car specification with a view to doing some hill climbing and circuit racing in the future. The car is now reluctantly being offered for sale due to a change in circumstances.
Since completion the car has been kept in heated/dehumidified storage, has covered less than 600 miles and is in superb condition throughout.
Throughout the remainder of 2019 the following work was carried out:-
All of interior trim removed and all old underseal removed from floorpans.
New Alfaholics 6/8 point bolt in roll cage.
New Alfaholics diamond quilted rear seat drape.
New Dynamat sound deadening fitted to floorpan.
New carpet set and new rear parcel shelf.
New Corbeau FIA race seats.
New TRS FIA race harnesses in date until end 2025.

New VDO oil pressure gauge and sender.

Engine set up on rolling road producing 160 Bhp. New high torque starter motor, lightweight racing alternator, new Alfaholics stainless steel exhaust system.
All original parts removed are available with the car.
To buy and build a car to this spec. today would cost in excess of £75k!

Alfetta GTV 2000 Historic race car LHD £ SOLD
We are pleased to offer for sale this successful Class winning Alfa Romeo Alfetta GTV 2000 race car.
The car is built to the Historic Sports Car Club's 70's Roadsports Championship and Historic Racing Drivers Club's Alfa Challenge regulations, but is eligible for several other race series/championships. We sourced the car for a long standing client when he moved from hillclimbs and sprints to circuit racing in 2017, having sold his previous car an Alfa Romeo 105 Series 2000 GTV. We are now selling the Alfetta GTV on behalf of the current owner, who at the age of 70, is retiring from motorsport!
We sourced the car for my client in Belgium in early 2017 and have prepared it and provided race support since that time. All invoices for the work carried out are available. The owner who started as a novice in 2017, has achieved Class wins and awards with both HSCC and HRDC and a Class championship award with the HSCC. Lap times achieved are available for most major UK circuits.
